The purpose of this Society is to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Victoria by providing services to the elderly, adults with disabilities, and others who are experiencing difficulty coping with their daily activities. The Society will recruit and provide training to its staff and volunteers to meet this objective.
Hello Dear friends of CCV
It is with great regret and also great anticipation, that after 15 years of service to CCV, I will be leaving on Friday July 30 2010. I will miss all the clients, volunteers, board of directors and staff very much. I leave you in good hands with Nansi Blenkiron who has been with the agency for over 7 years. There will be some new faces in the office in the future to help Nansi and CCV will be working very closely with our partner, James Bay Community Project.
The staff and Board of Directors will carry on as usual and look forward to providing a high standard of services to the community.
Good bye to all of you – it has been a pleasure to know you.
Sincerely,
Karina Wolf, Executive Director
Volunteers assist individuals in maintaining their independence by visiting, driving them to medical appointments, assisting with minor repairs and gardening, and meeting other requests as needed.
Many local businesses, foundations, and hundreds of volunteers have contributed to the agency's ability to continue to provide one to one volunteer outreach services to the people of Victoria.
