Dr. Cale Copeland, BSN DC, graduated from UVIC in 1998 with a degree in nursing (BSN); graduated from Chiropractic school in 2005; currently working on becoming a certified Wellness Practitioner.
In this workshop you will learn how to get the most out of your day, as well as improve your alertness, focus and productivity. Rejuvenate your mind and body by learning about the "Six Facets of Health", the key components to staying healthy and feeling good.Don't wait for problems to develop, keep your body in tune and working the way it is meant to. You will leave this workshop knowing you have the power to change your life for the better.

Advance Directives - Taking Care Of Your Health Care Planning

Advance Directives express your wishes for health care in the event you should become incapable of making those decisions for yourself. Topics covered include: What is an advance directive? Why should you have one? What is involved in creating one and how do I get started? Canadian Red Cross Power Mobility Training Workshop
Place: Hillside Seniors Health Centre – Yakimovich Wellness Centre, 1454 Hillside Ave

Workshop provides new users or refresher for regular users of scooters, mid-wheel drives and power chairs on proper use/care of machines; rules and regulations for safe driving; accessories to make the person/machine visible; basic maintenance; practice driving indoors and outdoors. This workshop is made possible by working in partnership with the Red Cross Society.Thursday, 24 July 2008 10:00 am - 3:00 pm (BC Transit will bring a bus between 2:00-3:00pm – to give participants an opportunity to practice their driving skills on and off the bus)
